1. Before and after the summer heat, when the white tail silk extended by the male adult begins to appear on the surface of the wax flower, the wax flower can be harvested.
2. Boil the wax flower in a boiling water pot. When the wax flower is completely dissolved, take out the firewood to cool down. When the wax residue sinks, the wax liquid floating on the water surface is moved to a basin, and after cooling, it is bald wax.
3. Pour the wax residue (male wax insect pupa) into the laundry basket, rinse it with clear water, pour it into a wooden bucket and soak it for 1 ~ 2 days, then put it into a special cloth bag, put it on a wooden frame in a pot, add water and cook it with strong fire. When the insect body in the bag becomes soft and wax appears on the water surface, squeeze it with a wooden stick to make all the wax in the insect body squeeze out. Pour the wax liquid floating on the water into the basin and cool it to get the second waxing.
