Efficacy indication
1. Tonifying kidney and strengthening yang is used for infertility caused by cold uterus due to deficiency of kidney yang, impotence, nocturnal emission, weakness of waist and knees, or deficiency of women's chong and ren, and is often combined with Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, Fructus Lycii and Semen Cuscutae.
2. Dispelling wind and removing dampness is used for rheumatism and arthralgia, or numbness of limbs. It is often combined with Clematis chinensis and Cinnamomum cassia, such as Xianlingpi powder.
Dosage and usage10 ~ 25g, decocted in water.
Taboo yin deficiency and excessive fire should not be taken.
It is said that Xianling spleen warms kidney yang, which is a commonly used drug for treating kidney yang deficiency in clinic. Its efficacy of warming kidney and benefiting fire is similar to that of Curculigo orchioides and Fenugreek. However, Curculigo orchioides and Fenugreek are warm in nature and have strong kidney warming effect. If they are taken for a long time, they will have the disadvantages of bitter taste and dry lips. This product is warm but not hot, and there is no adverse reaction to patients who are partial to kidney yang deficiency.
