A Brief History of Tsingtao Brewery: Approved by the National Reform and Development Commission in June 1993, Tsingtao Brewery, as the sole sponsor, established Tsingtao Beer Co. Ltd. was established on the basis of the merger of the former Sino-foreign joint venture Tsingtao Brewery No.2 Co.

Qingdao Brewery Co., Ltd. was the first Chinese company to be listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited when it issued its H shares in Hong Kong in June 1993, and was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on August 27, 2003 when it issued its A shares in China.
