Growth habit
Eggplant is a positive species, like high temperature, humidity and sunny environment. However, it can also grow in a semi-shady environment; only under the shade environment, the branches are overgrown, with fewer flowers or long leaves and no flowers; while the yellow-flowered eggplant will grow aerial roots on the branches under a shaded and humid environment.
The soil suitable for eggplant planting to deep fertile, good ventilation, rich in organic matter of acidic sandy loam soil is preferred; so that the growth of the plant is robust, large flowers, bright flowers. When the soil is infertile, the egg flower growth and development is poor, the flower shape is small, the color of the flower is dull.
Eggplant is drought-resistant, avoiding waterlogging, good resilience. However, drought is not conducive to plant development, and in severe cases of poor growth; waterlogging can easily cause root rot.
