Yangcheng Lake is located in the northeast of Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, across Suzhou City, Industrial Park, Kunshan City and Changshu City. It is one of the important freshwater lakes in Jiangsu Province. Yangcheng Lake covers an area of 65,438 0.20 square kilometers, about 65,438 0.8 million mu. It is divided into West Lake and East Lake. It is connected to Suzhou City in the south and Changshu Mountain in the north, mostly in Wuxian City. Just like its name, the water quality of Yangcheng Lake is clear, and the sun shines through the bottom of the lake, which looks like a shining jade from a distance.
The coastline of Yangcheng Lake is 9.67 kilometers long, winding and poetic. Yangcheng Lake, with a total water surface of 6.5438+0.8 million mu, is one of the lakes in the lower reaches of Taihu Lake and the remains of ancient Taihu Lake, which is used as Yangcheng Lake. Siniperca chuatsi, soft-shelled turtle, white fish, eel, prawn and hairy crab are the "six treasures in the lake", among which Yangcheng Lake Qingshui hairy crab, known as the "king of crabs", is well-known at home and abroad.
