Drip fish, also known as sad fish, soft Tibetan dog fish and bobo fish, is called "the saddest fish in the world" because of its sad face. This strange underwater fish really has reason to be depressed: scientists have warned that dripping fish is threatened with extinction due to deep-sea fishing.

Dripping fish live along the coast of Australia and Tasmania, at the deepest point1200m. Because it is difficult to reach the habitat of this fish, it is rarely found by humans. Blobfish's body is gelatinous and can grow to 12 inch (about 30.5 cm).

In order to maintain buoyancy, the water droplet fish is made of a gelatinous substance with a density slightly lower than that of water, which helps it float easily from the bottom of the sea. Muscle deficiency is not a big problem for water droplet fish, because it mainly lives by swallowing edible substances in front of it.

Dropfish hatch in different ways. After laying eggs in shallow water, the female dropfish will lie motionless on the eggs until the young fish hatch.
