The way to train the brain: to help you improve your memory faster

Many students in the study of high school English will feel the need to memorize too many things, there is no way to remember, want to improve their memory through some training, so what are the methods of training the brain?

Ways to train the brain (a)

1) Read a good book. Reading a book will stimulate the imagination. When you read a book, your brain can't continuously be reflecting images. Reading gets your mind working. I like to let books take me on a journey. I always have one and sometimes three to four books going! Most of the books I borrow from the library so that I don't have to pay for each book. This also allows me to read a wide variety of books without risk.

2) Brain Academy. The bad side of video games is that they lead to brain rot, but some of them actually help you enhance your thinking as well. I love the Brain Academy game. It's a collection of brain jokes to test mental acuity.

(Big Brain Academy for the Wii. That's the name of the game in the original article, it's a game mind game under the Will, it's great.)

3) Practice meditation. Don't worry, I'm not leaving the deepest end of the New Age here. There are many different ways to meditate. For me, in its simplest form, meditation is a way to spend a little time alone to achieve relaxation and focused thinking. It is magically therapeutic.

4) Get plenty of rest. Lack of sleep can affect your ability to absorb new information. This means that cramming all night in college is much less efficient than you think. Your brain needs to rest and work at its optimal performance. This is probably why things always become clearer and more lucid after a good night's sleep.

5) Exercise regularly. Do you want to get off the treadmill without a moment's notice? Cardiovascular exercise improves brain function by improving the flow of blood to the brain. One study found physical activity actually helped expand the size of the brain. So if you want a bigger, better brain, then exercise!

6) Eat a good breakfast. This is not unrealistic. Eating a good breakfast does give you a better start. You should eat a breakfast that is high in protein and good carbs. Two slices of whole wheat toast with peanut butter would fit the bill. Eggs are also a good source of protein. Nuts

, milk and fresh fruit all provide good nutrition for the brain.

7) Think positively. Encourage yourself. I believe that thinking positively will provide brain efficacy and help avoid disappointment. I would say your brain is like a computer, garbage in, garbage out. Discover positivity, encourage people to hang out, read material that will make you happy, and do all the things that make you feel good. These things will help your spirit become more productive.

8) Keep learning. Don't stop doubting your world. Look for new experiences, skills and knowledge. Write about the things you always wanted to learn to do and start doing them. A now famous study showed that identified areas of the brains of London cab drivers are more developed than the average citizen. This is due to the fact that they need to learn to know how to navigate the maze of city streets. We can use this technology, which challenges our brains, to improve our abilities.

9) Stop drinking. Alcohol is the cause of depression. It reduces mental functioning. It is well-documented that alcohol can mess with sex. If you want top mental performance then stop drinking. Another effect it can observe, it also diminishes one's sleep, which we've already discussed, and hinders your ability to think clearly.

10) Have romance (especially for women).

Ways to Train Your Brain (II)

11)Break out of your routine. Choose a new road to drive to work. Try writing with your other hand. Mix a little bit of something different together. This will invigorate your brain because it requires you to think more. You can't just drive on autopilot. Leave your stereotypes to challenge your brain and it will respond. It's a great way to get your brain flowing.

12) Don't watch too much TV. Researchers have found that watching too much TV at ages 1-3 can lead to attention problems in children. Let's face it, TV numbs the mind. Get up off the couch and get off the TV. Sure, there are some good educational programs for kids and adults, but overall Americans watch too much TV. Turn off the TV if you want to be mentally productive.

13) Work with numbers. Mentalize rather than use a calculator. Many of us it is use it or lose it. We have become mentally lazy. We rely on tools instead of thinking for ourselves. Processing and memorizing numbers is a great way to get your brain back in shape. It can pay off a lot of dividends along the way.

14) Stop walking on GPS. Remember the cab driver mentioned in #8. Using your brain to point out how to get from point A to point B is great mental gymnastics. You have to use your brain's ability to determine spatial relationships to be more efficient at reading maps and traveling through cities. Traveling in an unfamiliar place is even better!

15) Bring back distant memories. Find old photos and start flipping through them. This will access a bank of memories in your mind. Images will help you remember what you've forgotten. Digging deeper is all you remember. If you have other ways to jog your memory, like old letters and home movies, then use them as much as possible.

16) Create beautiful music. Learning to play an instrument is a super way to change your brain. It requires several different parts of your brain to work in harmony to create the melody you want. Of course, if you're already

a musician, you guys learn a new thing. Force yourself to learn new techniques. Music is the great exercise of the mind.

17) Speak a new language. Many people agree that learning a new language is a powerful way to stretch the mind. If you've ever tried to learn even a few new words, then you know it can be hard. Of course, the harder you give your brain the better! You have a lot more thinking power than you think. Give it a try!

18) Memorize a song. Many of us have a lot of old songs stored in our minds, but why not expand our memories by learning some new tunes? It will take a little while at first, but if you stick to how it's done, you'll find it gets easier and easier. This is your brain back in shape.

19) Cover your eyes and walk around your house. This may seem like an unfamiliar activity, but your brain can handle it. Once you've tried it a few times, you'll likely find it interesting and challenging. Plus, this will apply your memory, motor skills, and reasoning. What a great workout!

20) Expand your vocabulary. Decide to learn a new word every day. There are many websites that can help you in this endeavor. You'll not only expand your mind, but you'll be able to impress your friends and coworkers when you introduce a new vocabulary word into a conversation.
