Next, we need to pay attention to these details in folding filter paper. One side of the tapered filter paper is a suture, and the suture will be hard. First, fold it along the suture.
Then open the filter paper.
Butt the crease lines on both sides, and be careful not to press out the crease at the bottom of the cone.
Squeeze the original two crease lines and flatten the creases, so that they will not be tilted when placed on the filter cup at the back. Press the crease repeatedly with your right hand, pull and smooth it first. Be careful not to make new creases.
Then there is an important detail, that is, the seam at the bottom of the cone is convex, so that it may get stuck in the ribs under the filter cup and cause the filter paper to be out of position. Therefore, folding the protruding part along the cone shape can effectively avoid this phenomenon.
Then put it on the filter cup, press the filter paper to attach to the filter cup, and confirm whether it fits. If it doesn't, slowly adjust the position to ensure it fits.
Then don't let go, hold the filter paper and the edge of the filter cup with your fingertips, fix the position, and then wet the filter paper with hot water, so as to ensure that the filter paper fits the filter cup safely.
Of course, it is easier to make the filter paper stick to the filter cup without wetting the filter paper, that is, to "press" the filter paper by using the weight of coffee powder itself to prevent it from "sticking up". Therefore, wet filter paper can also make the filter cup fit well.
