Brief introduction of Shanxi Jin opera
Shanxi Jin Opera was formed by Zhou Pu Bangzi flowing into Jinzhong in the early Qing Dynasty, combining Qitai Yangko and Jinzhong folk tunes with the participation of Shanxi merchants and local literati. Shanxi Jin Opera, one of the four major Bangzi operas in Shanxi Province, originated in the middle of Shanxi, also known as Zhonglu Bangzi, and other provinces called Shanxi Bangzi, which is mainly distributed in north-central Shanxi and parts of Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia and Hebei.
Shanxi Jin Opera is characterized by its euphemistic and smooth melody, beautiful melody, mellow and kind singing and clear singing, which has a strong local flavor and its own unique style in Jinzhong area.
