Production step
1. Prepare ingredients
Wash glutinous rice, soak for 2 hours, peel and remove seeds from pumpkin, cut into small pieces, wash red beans, mung beans, peanuts and lotus seeds respectively, and wash Lycium barbarum, dried longan and red dates for later use.
Step 2 cook glutinous rice
Put the soaked glutinous rice into the rice cooker, add some water, and press the cooking button to start cooking.
Step 3 cook beans
Put red beans, mung beans, peanuts and lotus seeds into different pots, add appropriate amount of water, cook them and remove them for later use.
Step 4 cook pumpkin
Put the pumpkin pieces into the pot, add appropriate amount of water, cook until soft and rotten, and then remove them for later use.
5. Mix eight-treasure rice
Put the cooked glutinous rice into a large bowl, add a proper amount of rock sugar, and stir well with a spoon. Add the cooked beans, pumpkin, Lycium barbarum, dried longan and red dates into the bowl and stir well again.
6. Steamed eight-treasure rice
Pour the mixed eight-treasure rice into a steamer and steam for 30 minutes on medium heat.
Step 7 serve food
Take out the steamed eight-treasure rice, put it on a plate, sprinkle with a little osmanthus powder and serve.
