Why can't the pork quarantine seal be washed off? Will it be all right after eating?
With the improvement of living standards, people pay more and more attention to food safety, so when buying food and meat every day, they are always worried about whether they will buy ingredients containing harmful substances.

Especially when people go to buy pork, they see that pork is stamped and can't be washed clean when they take it home. So can this piece of meat be bought home to eat? What does this mean? Let's take a closer look.

Why poke pork? Pork has now become a common food for every household, so the large-scale breeding and sales of pigs have formed a popular industrial chain.

In this case, in order to ensure the safety of pork and facilitate the supervision of the market, pork needs to pass the inspection of relevant departments under the supervision of the government before it can flow to the market, so there are a series of inspection rules and regulations.

According to Article 10 of the Regulations on the Management of Pig Slaughtering, the pigs slaughtered by the pig slaughtering plant (field) shall pass the quarantine inspection by the supervising agency for animal health according to law, and the quarantine certificate shall be attached.

At the same time, the "Regulations" also stipulates that pork must undergo quality inspection in addition to passing the quarantine inspection, and the pork that has passed the inspection must be stamped with the meat quality inspection certificate or attached with the meat quality inspection certificate.

In addition, the Rules for the Slaughtering and Quarantine of Pigs also clearly stipulates that raw meat needs to undergo immunization inspection. After passing the quarantine inspection, the official veterinarian will issue an animal quarantine certificate, affix the seal of animal quarantine inspection, and affix the quarantine mark to the divided and packaged meat.

For unqualified products, the official veterinarian is required to issue the Notice of Animal Quarantine Treatment, which will be strictly handled according to the corresponding regulations. Therefore, the seal on pork is actually a sign to test whether pork is qualified or not.

Pork Quarantine Chapter At present, there are five different seals for raw meat in China, which are? x? Form a seal, and this seal is a broken seal. If there is such a seal on the pork, it means that there is something wrong with the pork. This kind of pork cannot be sold, let alone eaten.

Triangle chapter and triangle quarantine chapter belong to high temperature chapter. To put it simply, this kind of pork can only enter the market after high temperature treatment according to national standards, and it is generally not available for sale. Oval seal, this refers to the craft oil seal, which means that these pork are used to refine industrial oil, and cannot be sold or eaten.

Rectangular chapter refers to the edible oil chapter, which means that the set can only be sold after being processed and refined into oil; A circular seal means that pork is qualified and edible. Generally, it has the serial number of the slaughterhouse and the date of slaughter, so we can buy it with confidence.

Generally we can see two kinds of stamps on pork, blue and red. Some people think that the pork with red seal represents female pork, while the pork with blue seal represents male pork.

Actually, this statement is wrong. The sex of the pig has nothing to do with the color of the seal, and the color of the seal has no effect on the quality of pork.

What's wrong with eating pork quarantine stamp? What dye was used in China at the beginning? Gentian violet? Alkaline stain (gentian violet is also found in purple liquid medicine), which has good affinity with protein and is not easy to wash off.

Therefore, it can be well attached to the surface of pork, but it was later found that gentian violet was carcinogenic, so the use of this colorant was completely eliminated.

But at present, the seals of pork are all food pigments designated by the Ministry of Agriculture, and there are six kinds of synthetic food pigments approved for use in China, namely amaranth, carmine, lemon yellow, sunset yellow, brilliant blue and indigo.

Take the blue chapter as an example. It is a colorant made of brilliant blue (often used as a colorant for medicines and foods), alcohol, glycerol, vitamin C, distilled water, etc. Therefore, the seals on pork are edible and will not cause any harm to human body.

In short, pork will only go on sale after quarantine. This stamp will not be washed off by water, but it can be washed off by rubbing with alcohol and hydrogen peroxide.

But it should be noted that hydrogen peroxide has corrosive effect, so the concentration of washing should not be too high. In fact, if you really care about that chapter, you can just scrape off the stamped skin and throw it away without washing it.
