Oyster mushroom
Pleurotus ostreatus is non-toxic, but for sterilization, it is recommended to blanch it before eating. Blanching water can remove the peculiar smell of Pleurotus ostreatus and make the cooking taste more delicious.
In order to avoid losing too much nutrition and flavor, it is best not to blanch edible mushrooms such as Pleurotus ostreatus for too long. You can first tear edible mushrooms such as Pleurotus ostreatus into small flowers, then put them in boiling water for a little scalding before taking them out of the pot.
Don't cover the oyster mushrooms when they are blanched, because all mushroom ingredients such as oyster mushrooms have a special fishy smell and can evaporate with steam. If you cover it, the effect of removing fishy smell will be much worse.
