Mint is a type of angiosperm, also known as nightshade, flourish cranesbill, and rising sun. It is mostly located along wetland rivers in the mountains. It first existed in large quantities in Europe, the Mediterranean Sea and West Asia, and in China it is mostly distributed in Yunnan, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Jiangxi.

Peppermint belongs to the genus Mentha of the family Labiatae, which is highly adaptable to temperature. The suitable temperature for growth is 20~30. The early and middle stages of growth need sufficient rainfall, and the budding and flowering periods need sufficient sunshine.
What does mint look like
The mint stem is erect, with slender fibrous roots at the lower nodes and many horizontal creeping rhizomes. The upper part is much branched, the leaves are obversely puberulent, with elliptic, serrate margins, the calyx is crowded, tubular, campanulate, and the corolla lavender.
