On a short vacation, avoid the crowds, choose a quiet and beautiful small village, go hiking in the spring to enjoy the flowers, and bring back a bucket of clear spring water to make tea!
After finishing the trivial matters at hand, it was almost noon, and I wanted to go to Hedong Village in Fangshan to sit by the water and let the little dog have fun. Unexpectedly, there were so many tourists by the water, so I temporarily changed the place and came to the quiet Kou'er.
village!
Kou'er Village is located in Hebei Town, Fangshan District, Beijing. It is a quaint village hidden in the mountains. There are very few people living in the village. The structure of the houses here is a typical mountain village style, maintaining the original simplicity and interest!
The village is not big, but I came here because it has one of Fangshan’s beautiful hiking trails, the Golden Phoenix Hiking Trail!
When you arrive at the village, drive straight up along the main road in the village. There is a large yard on the left side of the road where your car can be parked. The entrance to the trail is also here!
Friendly reminder: On the right side of the rockery, there is a large cage made of barbed wire and a long black pipe. This is mountain spring water!
The trail is built very gently, and the peach and apricot flowers bloom along the way. The Golden Phoenix Hiking Trail is ten kilometers long and is also a stop on many classic hiking routes in Fangshan!
Because the time for this trip was limited, I didn’t plan a specific route. I just walked slowly along the trail and enjoyed the warm sunshine of spring and the fragrance of flowers along the way!
Beside the winding trail, the mountain flowers are in full bloom, and it is quiet and beautiful. I only met three or two elderly people admiring the flowers along the way. Looking at the crowds of people at various scenic spots in the circle of friends, I feel really lucky!
According to the sign beside the road, the road on the right is heading towards Fozi Village. After reading the relevant guide, you can reach the Zhenwu Temple in Shangyingshui Village!
Going up is towards Lianquan Temple, and over the mountain you can reach the Jinling ruins!
This trip is headed towards Lianquan Temple!
There is also a spring in the huge gourd beside the road. It is covered with iron sheets. When it is opened, there is also a pipe, but the amount of water is much smaller than that at the bottom of the mountain!
An interesting stone on the mountain actually looks like a lotus bud when viewed from a distance, but when photographed, it looks like the claws of a bear. Very interesting!
Continuing forward, the road becomes difficult to navigate. It rains too much in the summer, causing landslides in many sections of the road. There are huge bluestones blocking the way and making it difficult to climb up!
And there are many boulders scattered in the valley that look like meteorites!
I actually found a sign for Shihuadong on the side of the road. Have my feelings reached the area of ??Shihuadong?
About one kilometer away from Lianquan Temple, due to time constraints, we decided to return the same way and go down the mountain!
According to the Zhengde inscription, the founder of the Lianquan Zen Temple was a descendant of the Wu clan in Wanquan County, Shanxi!
There was a folk legend that "the mountain gate collapsed, no one was there, seven steps away, seven steps away, there are seventy-two jars of old pickles", which tells the story and legend of Lianquan Temple!
It's a pity that the temple has been destroyed, and now all that remains are dilapidated ruins!
Although there are regrets about an unfinished mountaineering trip, the quiet and beautiful valley, the beautiful peach and apricot flowers in the mountains, and the clear and sweet spring water are all worth it!
Friends who come here can navigate to Kou'er Village. There is also a bus station here. You can also see a clean farmhouse at the entrance of the village. It is really a good place to find peace and tranquility!
I am March, and I use videos and texts to record Beijing’s niche attractions and hiking routes!
