Wenling City is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is the place where the first ray of dawn of the new millennium and new century shines in mainland China. It is located on the southeast coast of Zhejiang, the southern wing of the Yangtze River Delta region, facing the sea on three sides, the East China Sea to the east, and the East China Sea to the south.

Lian Yuhuan is adjacent to Yueqing and Yueqing Bay to the west, and Taizhou City to the north. Its geographical coordinates are 121°09′50″~121°44′0″ east longitude and 28°12′45″~28°32′02″ north latitude.
