Tanzhe Temple 1
Tanzhe Temple is a famous scenic spot in Mentougou, Beijing and the oldest temple in Beijing. There is a folk saying that "Tanzhe Temple comes first, then Yanjing City". Tanzhe Temple was founded in the first year of Yongjia in the Western Jin Dynasty (AD 307), with a history of nearly 1700 years, and its scale reached its peak in the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty.
