Hui 'an Ancient Town is located on the north bank of Qiupen River in the suburb of Da Nang, near the estuary of Hui 'an River, about 30 kilometers away from Da Nang City. It was once a famous oriental port in history and the earliest residence of China people in Vietnam.
As soon as I set foot on the streets of Angu Town, I was enveloped by the unique rich charm and antique atmosphere of Southeast Asia. The ancient town is built by the water, and the picturesque Jianghuai River passes through the town. The ancient houses, boats, coconut trees, lanterns and tourists on both sides of the river form a vivid and beautiful picture scroll.
Strolling through the streets of the ancient town, you will find that the ancient town is very distinctive. In order to let readers better understand the characteristics of Hui 'an ancient town, I summarized ten characteristics for the ancient town:
1. The houses in the ancient town are particularly bright in color.
The houses here are basically golden yellow, which constitutes the main color of the ancient town, and people can't help but get close.
Second, there are many foreign tourists in the ancient town.
There are many tourists of all colors from all over the world in the ancient town. The people on the street seem to be a "United Nations" and can hear all kinds of communication languages. They either walk in the old streets in twos and threes, or gather in teahouses and bars facing the street for tea and coffee, or take the local human tricycles to shuttle through the streets.
It should be mentioned here that the ancient town of human tricycles is different from our China, because the tourists' seats are in front and the drivers are stepping behind, which is another scene.
Third, there are many China clubs in the ancient town.
Most of them are association of fellow villagers established when China people came to Hoi An to make a living and do business a long time ago. Guild halls have their own characteristics, but basically they all have one characteristic, that is, they all inherit the cultural elements of China.
According to the tour guide, the whole city of Hoi 'an is divided into five districts according to different ethnic groups in China: Fujian Gang, Guangdong Gang, Chaozhou Gang, Hainan Gang and Hakka Gang. Fujian Guild Hall, Zhao Guang Guild Hall, Chaozhou Guild Hall, Fu Qiong Guild Hall and China Guild Hall, five groups of guilds were established one after another. The hall building is resplendent and magnificent. The hall is dedicated to Mazu and Guan Gong respectively, and there are cigarettes all year round.
There are many teahouses, bars and coffee shops in the ancient town.
Many old houses on both sides of the street near the water have been renovated into teahouses, bars and coffee shops. Shopkeepers moved their desks and chairs outdoors. Every afternoon and evening, the tea bar by the river is crowded with tourists of different colors from all over the world.
There are many boats on the river in the ancient town.
Cruise ships and fishing boats of various shapes on the river surface either sway on the water surface or stay on the shore, as if waiting for tourists to board at all times.
Sixth, the night view of the ancient town is particularly beautiful.
After nightfall, the ancient town of Hui 'an will exude a strong exotic atmosphere. The dazzling neon lights and lanterns light up the ancient town, which is particularly mysterious, hazy and profound under the sparkling water.
Seven, there are many lanterns in the ancient town, which are particularly beautiful.
The lanterns at the entrance of the lantern shop in the small street of Guzhen are colorful and have different shapes, and they look good without lighting. Lantern is handmade, simple and natural, woven from wood and bamboo. Lanterns are made of colored silk, large and small, square and round, with a sense of science and technology. It is a good ornament to buy and hang at home, which is very pleasing to the eye.
Eight, the ancient town has a unique beauty of ancient buildings.
Many well-preserved ancient buildings and streets in the ancient town reflect the organic combination of Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese cultures and architectural styles. The street layout and architectural style not only show the simplicity and elegance of China architecture, but also integrate the natural aesthetics and life interest of local people. Visitors can not only appreciate the ancient cultural traditions here, but also feel the rich regional flavor.
The most famous of these buildings is a Japanese stone bridge with a roof. Shiqiao was built in the Year of the Monkey (1593) and completed in the Year of the Dog (1595), so there are two exquisite dog statues in the west of the bridge and two monkey statues in the east of the bridge, which are unique.
There are many handicraft shops in the ancient town.
The street is full of small shops selling local products and handicrafts, filled with Vietnamese silk, wood carvings, masks and other handicrafts. Traditional clothes that Vietnamese women like to wear, ode, can be seen everywhere in small shops on the street. Odes sewn from silk of various colors and patterns are very beautiful whether they are hung in shops or worn on people.
X. There are many special foods in the ancient town.
Traveling through the ancient town, you will find many special snacks, all of which are the favorite foods of local people, so savor them carefully. Even the name of food is unique. You haven't heard of it, such as Gao. Do you know what kind of food this is?
Just ask the tour guide to know that the high-rise building is a delicious food that Hui 'an people carefully build and are proud of. Aromatic rice is soaked in wood ash and added to the famous well water in Bali. After the rice turns yellow, it is ground into slurry, spread out and pressed into pieces, steamed in a pot, cut into strips and put in a big bowl. A bowl of high-end pork with exquisite barbecued pork, crispy skin, barbecued pork juice, coriander, fresh pepper and so on. It often makes diners want to stop.
The quaint buildings and streets, rich regional and ethnic customs, and diverse cultural scenery of Southeast Asian countries in Hui 'an ancient town have deeply attracted me and left a deep impression on me.
If you come to Da Nang, you must visit the ancient town of Hui 'an and feel the charm of Hui 'an culture, which will make you find an experience you have never had before.
Hui 'an Ancient Town deserves to be named as "World Cultural Heritage" by the United Nations!
