1. Design stickers. If you make your own stickers, you can be infinitely creative in the design of the stickers. Use whatever drawing tools you want, such as colored pens, markers, pastels, etc., to draw the sticker pattern on a thin piece of paper. You can also use loose-leaf paper or paper from a notebook. When thinking about sticker patterns, consider these creative options:
Draw a self-portrait or a portrait of a friend or pet.
Cut neat pictures and text from magazines and newspapers.
Print images you find online or upload to your computer. For best results, print them on thin printer paper, not photo paper.
Decorate the picture with glitter.
2
Cut out the stickers. Use scissors or a hole punch to cut out the picture you drew or printed. Decide the sticker size according to your preference.
3
Make glue. Glue is the adhesive that adheres stickers to most surfaces. [1] Pour the following ingredients into a bowl and mix well:
1 packet of unflavored gelatin (equivalent to 7.2 grams or 1 tablespoon)
4 tablespoons of boiling water
1 teaspoon sugar or corn syrup
A few drops of peppermint or vanilla essence (for flavor)
4
Apply glue to the sticker. Lay the stickers upside down on a piece of wax paper or aluminum foil. Use a paintbrush or pastry brush to apply glue to the back of the sticker. When finished, let the glue dry completely.
You don’t need to soak the entire sticker in adhesive, just apply a light layer of glue.
Stickers must be completely dry before use.
5
Lick the sticker (or smear saliva on the back of the sticker). When you're ready to apply the sticker to various surfaces, simply lick the sticker like a stamp and press down on the surface for a moment. Homemade glue is quite sticky, so decide carefully where you want to adhere the sticker.
