Life has no answer, see what answer you want it to give. Just like we have to give ourselves meaning in life.
I especially like the "contribution of others" mentioned in The Hate Courage, which coincides with the idea of "altruism". If we do things from the perspective of altruism, the value and significance of life lies in it.
There are thousands of worlds in the book, and there are unacceptable life experiences in the book. Reading brings people not only changes, but also essential nutrients to nourish life. With the initial intention of sharing, I held the second reading meeting today, hoping to take a group of people further.
Next, I will make a resumption of this activity, hoping that I can learn from it and grow continuously.
Looking for a venue from 18 to today, to be honest, time is particularly urgent. Although everyone said that I had gained a lot after the end, I was particularly grateful, but to be honest, I found many shortcomings in this book club, so I must reflect and summarize well in order to do better next time.
Rescheduled: The book reading meeting scheduled for July 4th was cancelled and postponed due to the temporary business of the venue owner. From 6th to16th, I almost wandered outside, visited my sick teacher, got together with my friends and traveled to Yunnan. When I got home, I thought about my friends who wanted to go to work, so I decided to July 2 1.
Pre-preparation: From 18, we started to find venues, make posters and publicize, and made a circle of friends on the night of 19 17:30. The goal of 8 people was exceeded in just three hours, and a total of 1 1 people signed up. To be honest, there are some surprises. Among 1 1, there are old members of the First Reading Club, their colleagues, their friends, their college classmates and two prospective high school students. The membership structure is richer than the first reading club.
The main process of reading club:
1, first acquaintance: each member made a brief self-introduction and got to know each other; Then I played a game of sitting on the ground and standing up, and everyone got to know each other better. Write your partner's name with a name sticker and stick it on your right arm.
2. Let's talk about reading first: First of all, we exchanged some topics about reading together, mainly to guide everyone to speak freely with questions, such as how many books have you read in the last six months, what kind of books are you reading, which one should you recommend if you recommend a book, and why? In this exchange session, everyone chatted happily and exchanged a lot.
The most read is my talented colleague, Comrade Lao Wang, about 40 books; Followed by university friend Xiao Li, more than 30 books; The minimum is 2 copies; Everything else is basically within 10.
What everyone likes to watch most is the parent-child category (there are two precious mothers) and the literature and history category.
The recommended books are: A Brief History of Mankind by yuval Harari, My Cat by Natsume Sasaki, Old Things in the South of the City by Lin Hai Yin, Self-control by Kelly Magneger (USA), Norwegian Forest by Haruki Murakami, and Dr. Yoshida's research at Harvard University (Japan).
After the exchange, when asked about the biggest problem that everyone encountered in the reading process, everyone had many questions. The most mentioned problem was that they forgot after reading and could not be used after reading so many books. Around these two issues, everyone had a heated discussion.
3. What is a reading account? We talked about our understanding of reading accounts and what reading accounts are. Then I took everyone to learn the Lucky Manual and read the contents of the reading manual together.
In order to make everyone understand better, I printed the reading manuals of Ma, Li Mo, Yi and others for them to see.
This year, everyone gave a lot of praise, which was pleasing to the eye and especially admired.
Two super easy-to-use note-taking methods: Around the reading manual, I shared two relatively good note-taking methods-Cornell note-taking method and Jiugongge note-taking method. Simply operate two note-taking methods and distribute printed materials at the same time.
These links are followed by the exchange time of reading methods and notes, and the atmosphere is particularly good while drinking coffee and eating delicious food.
4. Common reading time: In spare time, it is the time to read together. Everyone is required to read a chapter in 30-40 minutes, read it with the questions in the distributed Jiugongge notes, and pay attention to marking golden sentences and knowledge points available to them. Exchange reading experience after reading.
5. Time to make a micro account: briefly explain the requirements, imitate the published reading account information, and make a reading micro account by yourself in combination with the notes made in Jiugongge. Comment on each other's books, compare the top three and award prizes.

The above is the pre-planning situation. The book club is full so soon, which is a bit unexpected to me. In fact, it is good overall, but there are some problems in the specific operation.
1. Process arrangement: I arranged two joint reading sessions. One is to read the "Reading Manual" part of "Lucky Handbook" together (about 10 minutes), and the other is to read a chapter of your own book with questions, and take Jiugongge notes while reading for about 40 minutes.
There are some minor problems in the second reading.
The first is music: because there is no box in the store, our activity is held on the first floor, but there are several customers on the second floor. The coffee shop has been playing songs, and the sound is relatively low. I don't think it will affect reading. However, a friend of mine showed impatience when he started reading. After I felt it, I quickly communicated with my boss whether I could play some light music suitable for reading, but I didn't succeed because of the internet and other reasons.
Improvement: This is a matter of detail. Communicate with the boss when looking for a venue in the future.
The second is the problem of Jiugongge notes: in order to use reading methods and notes in reading, I ask you to choose the chapters to read after browsing the table of contents, and read with at least 1 questions. It can be recorded in Jiugongge notes. My original intention is to hope that they can apply what they have learned and master the use of this note-taking method in practice. But in the process of reading, I found that some friends' attention is not focused on reading, but on desperately writing Jiugongge notes. I chatted with her during the break. She told me that she had just learned that her baby had a fever and was in a hurry, so she didn't study hard enough. Moreover, this nine-square note-taking method is very difficult for her. She doesn't know the priority, so she should concentrate on reading.
Reflection: Jiugongge notes are not difficult for individuals, but they are very good notes. However, it may not be considered that it is the first time for them to hear about the Jiugongge notes, so it is a bit overwhelming to rashly ask all of them to use them.
Improvement: You don't need to ask everyone to use Jiugongge notes, but you can suggest giving it a try. At the same time, I show myself how to use it to solve my own problems.
2. Time control: In fact, after the second reading meeting, I set up a brief reading experience and feeling exchange session with Jiugongge notes, followed by micro-reading notebook production, then awards and awards, and finally we exchanged feelings and put forward opinions and suggestions. However, because in the previous communication link, everyone chatted happily, so the time was basically loose before and tight after. As a result, the time for making manuals has ended. Many treasure moms had to hurry home and take a group photo in a hurry. The treasure moms left first, and the rest of the links were not carried out.
Reflection: I talked too much at the previous communication meeting and spent a long time; The total reading time was set at about 40 minutes, but it actually took an hour. Unreasonable time control directly leads to the loss of later time.
Improvement: Downlink settings can be less and more reasonable, leaving some spare time for everyone to communicate; Pay attention to your own rhythm and pull back members in time when chatting.
3. Photographing problem: Because the friend in charge of photographing can't work overtime temporarily, I temporarily arranged a friend who usually likes to take pictures to help. Maybe she didn't communicate in time. She didn't bring a camera, so she used a mobile phone. The photo effect is not very good Many wanted photos have not been taken, and the video shooting part is a little shaky, which may be difficult to edit. Moreover, this friend left early and forgot to explain the boss's help in the later link, so there were basically no photos in the later link.
Improvement: communicate in advance and make clear the situation and effect of the photos and videos you want. You can tell the boss in advance to take pictures for you.
Details: I think I am a careful person, but I still ignore many small and important details, such as location. Some of my friends know each other. They all know each other and sit together. In the communication link, many people communicate more with the people around them, and those introverted people rarely join us. 5. Pre-preparation: Because of the time problem, the hand card was not made in time and the arm sticker was not bought. The place we are looking for has no projection equipment.
Improvement: when looking for a venue, we should consider whether to use multimedia equipment; Learn to give full play to everyone's strength. Don't do it yourself. Next time, you can act alone, such as making posters and publicity, planning the reading process, buying goods, shooting and video editing. This can be done slowly.
Little regret: With Ma Bao's departure, only five people have finished reading this book. Some people have too little content and too many pictures. I didn't take photos of everyone's books, and the prizes I prepared were not distributed, which is a special pity.
Although the problems presented this time are not small, I have a good attitude. If there is a problem, it means that I still have a lot of room for improvement, and I still have greater potential to do better.
After the activity, several friends took the initiative to send me their experiences and gains from this activity. Although it is not perfect, I believe it will get better and better on the road of sharing.
This time, there was an unexpected harvest. I found that the proprietress is a special literary person. After the activity, we talked for nearly an hour.
The proprietress especially likes our activities, and encourages me to organize more in the future, and gives me some suggestions from a bystander's point of view: she thinks I am a little hasty, and the sharing of notes can be omitted, so it is very important to directly use some small games or questions to drive everyone, and at the same time improve everyone's reading interest. She told me that she had also seen many reading groups in her hometown. Although we are very young, people who come here are at different levels. Many people haven't read many books in a year. Your main purpose is to make everyone interested in reading first. As for reading methods and what you think is a good way to take notes, that is a follow-up question.
We talked about the current reading situation here, which is very bad. Now everyone is impetuous and doesn't pay much attention to reading. She also shared with me the reason why she insisted on opening this coffee shop without making much money. That is a feeling in her heart that everyone can have such a suitable reading environment to settle down. She asked me what is the purpose of holding such a book club, and what I want to achieve. If I want to be motivated, I should be mentally prepared, don't rush for success, and take my time.
