Harare’s specialty snacks

Harare Food Zimbabwe, like other southern African countries, the country's cuisine is mainly composed of African cuisine and British cuisine.

The former usually grinds corn, their main food, into powder and mixes it into Sadza, and then pours it with gravy called Nyama.

Usually beef and chicken are used, and occasionally crocodile or antelope meat is used to make gravy.

People in Zimbabwe rarely eat out, so almost all the people eating in restaurants are foreigners, and Western food is expensive.

However, there are Italian restaurants, Chinese restaurants, Greek and Indian-style restaurants, as well as moderately priced coffee shops in the commercial streets and bustling areas of Harare and Bravayon.

Breakfast at the hotel is around US$5, and lunch is not very expensive either and is large in portion.

Beverages generally include coffee, black tea, carbonated drinks, and alcoholic drinks like Oriental rice wine are also produced, but it is best for Chinese people to drink local beer and wine.
