I have long wanted to go to Chongqing, for the sake of delicious food and for the sake of experiencing Bashu culture. The trip was unplanned, so it was rather hasty. It doesn't take time just to visit Chongqing.
1. Travel distance
Because Chongqing is far from the city, it is the off-season of tourism, so the air tickets are cheap. After a three-day trip to Chongqing, I understand why Chongqing can be called a mountain city.
The road in the city center is tortuous, and the bridge with a straight line distance of two meters may have to walk 2000 meters to reach it. The house built on the mountain turns around, and the roof of someone else's house may be the sidewalk you are about to walk on.
Light rail is the lifeline of the whole city traffic. Countless stairs and elevators go up and down, as well as buses and taxis around you, all of which make me sigh that it is not easy to build a city here.
For safety reasons, there are speed limit signs almost everywhere on the road. So if you meet a driver who works overtime in Chongqing, please be considerate.
On the way, I always joke with local drivers. I'm afraid I can't get on the road without the driving skills of the famous mountain Fujiwara Takumi in autumn. Chongqing people seem to continue the traditional habits of mountain cities and start to close as soon as it gets dark. Soon, almost all the shops were closed for rest.
2. About food.
I have been coveting all kinds of delicious food in Chongqing for a long time, and I finally got my wish this time. Hot pot, noodles, mutton skewers and ice powder are hot and sweet. The first frost suppressed dryness and heat. Even if the temperature is over 30 degrees, you will have a good time.
Bayi Food Street, named after eating, ciqikou ancient town, the food capital hidden in the streets, and Hongyadong, a traditional residence with a diaojiao building, are all paradise for eating food. They are all good and cheap, but they taste very spicy.
Some people say that when you come to Chongqing, nothing can't be solved by a hot pot. If there are, then two. The red Chongqing hot pot is filled with rich butter flavor, and the spicy soup base stimulates the taste buds of your tongue.
You can eat the famous Chaotianmen hotpot in the bustling Jie Fangbei or Jiugongge in Hongyadong, which is also a good choice.
3. The beauty of Chongqing
I have long heard that there are beautiful women in many places, such as Yangzhou, Hangzhou or Suzhou, but they all feel that they are not worthy of the name. However, Chongqing actually makes me feel that it can be described as a cloud of beautiful women. People coming and going in the street are almost all lovely little sisters and many beautiful little brothers!
Passing orange cats also have their own high value.
4. About the beautiful scenery
Pass by your world and let everyone know Chongqing again.
The pig's head is separated from the swallow, and the night view of Jie Fangbei, which director Zhang loves, and the first four bridges where Mao and pig eat hot pot and drink beer by the river all pass through here, as if the movie scene reappears.
During the day, this is a lively folk town.
As night falls, Hongyadong is shrouded in twilight, and the yellow lights are lit up neatly. Looking up, the wooden diaojiao building built on the mountain is very similar to the bathhouse in Spirited Away in the mid-Tang Dynasty.
You can go in and look for food, but it's easy to get lost. Even a map can't help this winding building
If you want to appreciate the prosperity of Chongqing, Jie Fangbei is a good place.
For Chongqing people, its status is like going to Guangzhou to see the "small waist".
You can go to Times Department Store to see the elegance of luxury ornaments, and you can also taste all the Chongqing delicacies.
After dinner, let's go for a walk by the river, and you will meet the landmark of Chongqing-Qiansimen Bridge on Jialing River.
Standing here to see Chongqing from a unique perspective, the high-rise buildings in Yuzhong Peninsula show you the vitality of the mountain city, while the brightly lit Hongyadong tells you that the old city has not been lost, and a city is telling all its stories here.
To fully appreciate the charm of "3D city", you can't miss the psychedelic traffic here. The Yangtze River cableway has always been a "network celebrity" in the eyes of foreign tourists. Although it is only a convenient means of transportation in the hearts of local people, it carries people's childhood memories of Mount P.
No city's rail transit can compare with Chongqing. Just like hot pot and beer, light rail and Chongqing are a perfect match.
The flowing river in front of us, lined with beautiful images of high-rise buildings, passes through two flying Gao Qiao, and the endless traffic on the bridge makes a big picture feel like the unique temperament of the city.
In addition to the light rail and the Yangtze River cableway, there is also a crown escalator between Lianglukou and Caiyuanba. It has been in operation for more than 20 years, with a total length of 1 12m, a width of 1.3m and a drop of 52.7m Now, it is not only a means of transportation, but also a landmark attraction in Chongqing, with a sense of time.
Many people have only heard of the spicy mountain city, but they don't know that literature and art are also one of its charms. Chuanmei, one of the eight fine arts academies in China, is a holy place for artists in southwest China. Walking on campus, I suddenly saw several humanoid sculptures climbing on the building wall. Almost everyone who came to Chuanmei for the first time was surprised.
The graffiti street in Huangjueping outside Sichuan cannot be ignored. This is a kind of "performance art" in which all the people participate. Nearly 12.5 tons of paint was sprinkled on the exterior wall, forming a real graffiti street, which is unique in today's world.
If the Yangtze River cableway carries the childhood of a generation of Chongqing people, then the traffic teahouse is the memory of the older generation. Nowadays, teahouses in old houses are hard to find. We walked into the original traffic teahouse, ordered a bowl of covered tea, sat on the mottled wooden stool, and listened to the old tea drinkers talking about past lives in the mountain city.
The night view of a tree in Nanshan is the best in Chongqing. Unfortunately, due to time, I can't do this, but the famous hot pot town is my first experience. Does the hot pot restaurant in town sound a bit grandiose?
If you want to take Chongqing hot pot home, come to ciqikou ancient town. This used to be a pier, but now it is an ancient street where eating, drinking and having fun coexist. Chongqing noodles, aged twist, handmade hot and sour powder, Bakun handmade Bazin can be seen everywhere, as well as hot pot seasonings sold while processing on site.
Although I overestimated my stomach and underestimated the spicy taste of Chongqing, I still felt tenderness in this hot city. Once I passed by, I was in Qian Shan, hoping to see you thousands of miles away.
