LULU Ancient Town is located in LULU Town, Wujiang District, Suzhou City, only 27 kilometers away from the center of Suzhou. At the same time, there are direct buses in Shanghai, and the traffic is very convenient. Adjacent to Tongli Ancient Town and Tongluo Ancient Town, it is worth visiting by the way, or even staying in the scenic spot for one night on weekends to release the metropolis fatigue after work.

The ancient town of LULU seems to be a forgotten one. Of course, it may also be because this ancient town is the least famous and its area is much smaller than other ancient towns in Suzhou. However, there is no commercialization here, only the simplicity of plain face. Everything in the old street remains the same, and you can still see the old people and craftsmen busy here. This is the "living" ancient town that many people like.

Different from other ancient towns, the architecture of LULU ancient town seems to be on a timeline. You can see the architecture of the Qing Dynasty, the architecture of the Republic of China and the architecture from the 1950s to the present. Here, it's like seeing the development history of Jiangnan architecture, and walking into an architectural museum, and residents still live in these buildings, so we can't go in and out of some so-called ancient buildings at will like some ancient town attractions.

The most distinctive feature of the ancient town of LULU is the buildings crossing the street. Unfortunately, there are only three well-preserved buildings at present, which are somewhat similar to the rain corridor bridge or Hongqiao in the ancient city of Fenghuang, and will not get wet in the rainy south of the Yangtze River.

Walking slowly along the corridor along the river in the ancient town of LULU, you will find that it is cool even in hot summer, because the dense forest here hangs obliquely on the river, and ships will row across the river from time to time, causing ripples, which is very artistic. Maybe this is the leisure and pleasant living atmosphere we want. No pressure, no busyness, everything is so close to nature and comfortable.
