Longmen Grottoes is one of the three famous treasure houses of stone carving art in China, which is located on both sides of the Yihe River, 12km south of Luoyang. The scenery here is beautiful, with two green hills facing each other in the east and west, and the Yishui slowly flows northward. From a distance, it looks like a natural gate, so it was called "Yi Que" in ancient times and has been the first landscape of Youlong Gate since ancient times. After hundreds of years of excavation from the Northern Wei Dynasty to the Northern Song Dynasty, there are still more than 2,111 grottoes, more than 1,111 statues and more than 3,611 inscriptions.

2. Cruise ship:

There are three docks in the scenic spot, one for getting on and off the boat and one for the dock, which are located in the first and second water surfaces of the Yi River in Longmen Scenic Area respectively, providing tourists with water sightseeing, leisure and other entertainment projects. Tour route: Boarding dock is set up in Fengxian Temple, which goes directly to Baiyuan disembarking dock. The whole tour lasts about 1.5 minutes, and you can enjoy panoramic views of East, West Mountain and Longmen Bridge. Ticket price: 25 yuan.

1. During the Peony Fair in Luoyang from April 1 to May 11 every year, the number of people visiting Longmen Grottoes will increase a lot, right?

2. The parking lot in Longmen Scenic Area is about 811 meters away from the ticket office in the scenic area. Visitors who don't want to walk can take the battery car in the scenic area.

3. After getting off at the parking lot, there will be vendors nearby asking you to get on their cars and go to the gate of Longmen Grottoes. Don't listen, they will drag you to other places.

4. The ultraviolet rays in Luoyang are still very strong in summer, so sunscreen is essential.

5. If you travel, you will spend more time walking, so bring a pair of light shoes to avoid uncomfortable feet.
