The Buddha told the previous story: Once upon a time, there was a white elephant with six teeth. It had two wives, one named Xian and the other named Shan Xian.

once, accompanied by two ladies, the six-toothed white elephant was walking in the forest. Suddenly, it saw a very gorgeous lotus flower in the pool, so it went up and picked it. Just when it wanted to dedicate the lotus to Mrs. Xian, Mrs. Shan Xian snatched it away. When Mrs. Xian saw this, she was very unhappy. She thought, He loves goodness rather than me.

At that time, there was a pagoda in the mountain where the elephant lived, and the virtuous lady often collected flowers to support the Buddha. She secretly made a wish: I was born on earth in the next life, and I must not forget the injustice I have suffered in this life, and I must pull out its ivory. Then he took to the cliff and jumped down, even the bones were not found.

Mrs. Xian jumped off a cliff and went to heaven. Then she came down to earth and was born as a daughter in the house of King Pythium. In more than ten years, she became a beautiful and graceful girl. King Pettitte betrothed her to King Van Damdeok.

This woman does not forget the feud in her previous life. On the night of the wedding, she said to Van Damdeok with anger, "You must make me a bed with ivory, so that I can live, otherwise, I won't be with you for long and I will die." To the surprise of the six-toothed white elephant, as soon as its voice fell, the hunter's poisonous arrow came. The six-toothed white elephant is still agile, so he quickly flashed aside and the arrow didn't shoot himself.

when Mrs. sun-hyun saw this, she said angrily, "I told you to run away quickly, but you said that Shang is a good person who accumulates virtue and does good deeds. Now how do you explain what just happened? "

The six-toothed white elephant replied, "This is not because he is wearing a cassock, but because he has troubles in his heart. Therefore, this is not the sin of being a monk, but the sin of his restless heart. "

The hunter quickly replied, "How dare I pull out your tusks? You are so merciful that you not only did not cure my sin, but also saved my life. If I pull out your tooth, it will be bite the hand that feeds you, and my hand will surely rot. "

Hearing this, the six-toothed white elephant went to a big tree and tried to pull out its tusks with its long nose. Then he vowed to remove all the fangs of all living beings in the future. The hunter returned to the capital with the tusks of the six-toothed white elephant, and immediately presented the tusks to King Van Damdeok. When King Van Damdeok saw it, he was overjoyed and excitedly sent the ivory to his wife.

But when this lady saw the ivory, she suddenly felt remorse, and secretly thought, Why should I ask for this ivory that is virtuous and clean today? It's a sin. Since then, she has overhauled her merits and made a vow to practice Buddhism and build some merits. Soon, she became a monk and learned the Arhat Way.

When Buddha said this, he smiled and said to his disciples, "At that time, the six-toothed white elephant was my predecessor. The hunter was devadatta, the virtuous lady, and the virtuous lady was Ya?odharā Bhikuni." Hearing this, the disciples suddenly realized.

She rushed to her husband and asked, "You shameless man, why are there still women hidden in the wine jar when you married me in your house? You say, where is this wild woman? bhikshuni went to check with a grain of salt, and sure enough, she found a nun in the wine jar. She turned and left, saying, "Sin! Sin! "

a little later, another monk came. When he heard of such a strange thing, a cloud of doubt arose in his heart. He also went into the house and looked down. It turned out to be a reflection of people in the wine. He lamented that there were such foolish people in the world! Then he said to everyone, "Come with me!" I saw the monk picked up a stone, smashed the wine jar, and explained it like this.

After a while, Jialouxia woke up and felt full. She couldn't help burping and asked Youbo Jialouxia, "Where did you find this sweet and wonderful food? Eating it taught me to feel comfortable and cheerful, and even the sound was so beautiful. "

Euboga replied, "When you were asleep, a gust of wind blew the flowers of the fruit tree in Motoga not far away to me. I think although I ate it alone, both of us can quench our hunger and thirst and increase our mental strength, so we ate it ourselves without waking you up. "

after hearing this, jialouxun was very unhappy and thought, "He didn't wake me up when he got good food, and enjoyed the delicious food alone. I don't want to tell him when I meet something good in the future. " Some days later, two birds saw a poisonous flower in one place. Jialou thought, "All right! Let me eat this flower and let us both die together! "

He said to Youbo Jiaxie, "Go to sleep first! I'll watch. " So Euboga went to sleep at ease. When Jialouxie saw that he was fast asleep, he secretly picked the poisonous flower and swallowed it in one gulp.

After a while, Youboga woke up and felt sick all over. He gave a, er, poisonous gas in his breath and asked, "What bad food did you eat when I was asleep just now? Why am I so sick all over? " Jialouxie said, "I ate that poisonous flower when you were asleep. I hope we both die together."

after hearing this, Youboga was really puzzled and asked, "Why are you so reckless?" How to do such a thing? " After that, I sang sadly: At that time, you were sleeping and the flowers fell on my side. I eat delicious flowers, but you blame me. I hope from now on, I won't live with fools. It's no good living together when it hurts others and harms yourself.

When the merchant found out, he angrily picked up a stick and broke the dog's leg, and abandoned it by the roadside.

At this time, the venerable Sharifutsu saw the dog with a broken leg and hungry with his eyes, so he went into the city to beg for food with his clothes and bowl, and then flew to the dog with magical power to give him the food he had begged. When the dog ran out of food happily, the venerable Sharifutsu explained it to him. After the dog died, he was reincarnated to a Brahmin family in sravasti.

One day, the brahmin saw the venerable Sharifutsu enter the city to beg for food alone, and asked, "Didn't the venerable go with the novice monk?" The venerable master replied, "I don't have a monk with me. I heard that you have a son. Can you become a monk with me?" Brahman said, "I have a child named Junti, who is very naive now. Would it be better to let him follow the venerable master and become a monk when he is a little older?"

So when Junti was seven years old, the Brahmins took him to the Mie Jing House to become a monk. They all mentioned that Shami kept practicing Buddhism diligently, worked hard, and finally got a sense of understanding, which proved that he was a Luo Han Guo. They all mentioned that Shami thought that it must be the karma of the past to meet saints and realize enlightenment in this life, so he saw his past life as a hungry dog with supernatural power and was mercifully rescued by the venerable Sharifutsu.

Today, people can reap the holy fruit, so they all made a vow to Shami: "I am saved from all kinds of hardships by the grace of the venerable, and I should be with the venerable all my life." I will seek to be a novice monk all my life without being warned.

at that time, the venerable Ananda saw this karma and asked the Buddha, "I wonder what evil this man did and suffered from this dog? What kind of good roots have you built, and the honoured ones have been rescued and freed? " The Buddha told Ananda, "When Kaya Buddha was born, a group of monks gathered in one place to practice. At that time, there was a young monk in the monk group, whose voice was elegant and good at Brahma, and everyone was happy to listen.

Another older monk, with a dull voice, is not good at Brahma, but because of his merits, he has won the Arhat Grosvenor. The young monk relied on his good voice and laughed at the old monk's voice like a dog barking. Knowing that the young monk had sown evil consequences, the old monk said to the young monk with compassion: I have obtained the certificate of Siraitia grosvenorii, and my merits are well prepared.

When a young monk knew his crime, his hair stood on end and he was afraid of remorse, so he quickly confessed his sins to the old monk. " The Buddha told the public: "The young monk at that time was the Junti Shami today. Because of the bad words, 5 years old was often punished by dogs; It is also because of the merits of becoming a monk and keeping the precepts clean that I can see the Buddha and then realize the truth. "

When the monks heard what the Buddha said, they accepted it with joy and followed it. It can be seen that all causes and effects are created by the heart. However, we ordinary people only pay attention to the pursuit of immediate results, but carelessly abide by the rules of cause and effect, which is the inversion of cause and effect. We should believe in the law of cause and effect, which is very sequential.

Because people's life is not only this life, but has experienced the circulation from generation to generation, and no one can know what kind of career they have done in the process of past circulation, so doing good deeds in this life may not necessarily bring happiness and happiness in this life. Similarly, the bad karma created now may not necessarily be rewarded with pain and misfortune immediately.

However, this does not mean that the bad karma created now will not need to be borne in the future, just "it's not that the time has not come".
