History of Yong 'an Department Store
On June 28th, 1907, Yongan Company was founded in Hong Kong by Guo Le, an overseas Chinese from Xiangshan (now Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province) who is engaged in fruit wholesale in Sydney, Australia, and his brother Quanguo, with the address of No.0/07-235 Des Voeux Road Central. 1965438+On September 5, 2008, Shanghai Yongan Department Store was established. At first, a 6-storey business building was built at No.635 Nanjing Road (southwest corner of Zhejiang Road), and at 1933, a 22-storey Yongan new building was built at the acute angle between Zhejiang Road and Hubei Road (No.627 Nanjing Road). On 1966, Shanghai Yong 'an Department Store was renamed as State-owned Dongfanghong Department Store, and later as Shanghai Tenth Department Store, and 1988 was renamed as Hualian Department Store. In April 2005, the old name "Yong 'an Department Store" was reused.

Wing On Department Store once opened several branches in Hong Kong, but later some closed down, including Percival Street in Causeway Bay in the 1960s, Hopewell Center in Wan Chai in the 1980s, Nathan Road in Mong Kok in the 1960s, 200 1 Mobil Branch and Huangpu Branch in Kowloon Bay in February 2004.
