Good-looking Korean dramas are recommended: City Hunter, Descendants of the Sun, When You Sleep, Pinocchio and W- Two Worlds.
1. The City Hunter
The City Hunter is a Shuimu drama that was first broadcast by SBS TV in South Korea on May 25th, 211. Directed by Michael Chen, written by Huang Enjing and Cui Xiuzhen, starring Lee MinHo, Park Min Young, Li Xunhe, Jin Xiangzhong, Huang Shanxi and Koo Hara.
The play is adapted from the comic book of the same name by Japanese cartoonist Tsukasa Hojo. It tells the story that Dr. Li Runcheng of Massachusetts Institute of Technology enters the National Information and Intelligence Office in Cheongwadae, South Korea, and takes the opportunity to seek revenge for five government officials who secretly killed their biological father 24 years ago.
2. Descendants of the Sun
Descendants of the Sun is a Shui Mu mini-series broadcast by Korean KBS TV on February 24th, 216, directed by Bok Lee, written by Jin Enshu and Won-seok Kim, starring Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo, and starring Jin Goo and Kim Ji Won. This drama is the first Korean drama broadcast simultaneously by China and South Korea. The drama mainly tells the story of Liu Shizhen, the leader of the overseas dispatch team of the special forces, and Mu-Yeon Kang, a surgeon, who fell in love between South Korea and uruk, the dispatch area.
3. When You Sleep
When You Sleep is a suspense love drama directed by Wu Zhonghuan, written by Park Huilian, and starring Lee Jong Suk and Suzy Bae. It premiered on September 27th, 217 in South Korea's SBS TV station Shui Mu. The play tells the story of a woman who foretells future unfortunate events according to her dreams, and a prosecutor who works alone to prevent the nightmare from becoming a reality.
4. "Pinocchio"
"Pinocchio" is a water-wood drama broadcast by South Korea's SBS TV station on November 12th, 214. Directed by Zhao Xiuyuan and Seung-Woo Shin, written by Park Huilian, starring Lee Jong Suk, Park Shin Hye, Jin Yingguang and Li Youfei. Based on the life of journalists, the drama pursues the real young journalists from the Ministry of Social Affairs as the protagonists, and tells the love story of youth growth between a man living under a pseudonym and a woman who can't lie.
5. W- Two Worlds
W-Two Worlds is a fantasy love suspense drama premiered by South Korean MBC TV on July 2th, 216, directed by Dae Yoon Jung, written by Song Jae-jeong and starring Lee Jong Suk and Han HyoJoo. The play tells the story of a series of chain events that happened after Wu Yanzhu, a female doctor in the real world, accidentally entered the world of popular comic book W and met the comic protagonist Jiang Zhe.
