Lake Champlain is a freshwater lake in North America.
Located between New York, Vermont, and Quebec, Canada.
Mainly located in the United States (Vermont and New York), but some cross the border between the United States and Canada.
It is 172 kilometers long, 22 kilometers wide, covers an area of ??1,126 square kilometers, and has a maximum depth of 122 meters.
Located in the Champlain Valley between the Green Mountains of Vermont and the Adirondacks of New York, it flows northward through the Richelieu River and empties into the St. Lawrence River near Montreal.
Rivers from the Adirondacks and Green Mountains feed into the lake.
It is connected to the Hudson River through the Champlain Berg Canal and to the St. Lawrence River through the north flow of the Richelieu River.
