Foyin Town is located at the intersection of Luhe (Luzhou-Hejiang) and Fochi (Foyin-Chishui) highways, 34 kilometers away from Luzhou, 13 kilometers away from Hejiang, 40 kilometers away from Chishui, Guizhou, and bounded by Hejiang Town and Mixi to the east.

The township is adjacent to Xianshi Town and Yaoba Town in the south, Jiangyang District in the west, and Daqiao Township in the north. It is known as the gate of Jiangxi.
