Pingbian County is rich in tourism resources, including the magical and charming Dawei Mountain Primitive Forest Park, the southern Dawei Mountain Bear Paradise, Baiyun Lingbao Mountain, Drip Waterfall, Baihe Hot Spring, Pearl Cave, Crater and other dozens of scenic spots. the former site of Hekou flood control office was built in 1923. Western-style building with brick and wood structure, with three floors in the middle and a bell tower on the top, with a construction area of 95 square meters. Hekou Flood Control Office carries out administrative management internally, and accepts foreign affairs with China on behalf of the Vietnamese government externally, which is a modern foreign-related memorial building. In 1993, it was announced as a cultural relic protection unit in Yunnan Province.

China-Vietnam Railway Bridge

The China-Vietnam Railway Bridge spans Nanxi River, with a total length of 76 meters. The middle of the bridge is the Sino-Vietnamese border, the northern section is under the jurisdiction of the Chinese side and the southern section is under the jurisdiction of the Vietnamese side. In the middle of the bridge is a narrow-gauge railway, and cars run on both sides of the ballast bed.

The herringbone bridge spans 67 meters between two cliffs and is 1 meters away from the bottom of the valley. It is famous for its unique design and exquisite shape. The bridge was designed by a French female engineer, Paul Bodin. Construction started on March 1th, 197 and was completed on December 6th, 198. In 1998, it was announced as a cultural relic protection unit in Yunnan Province.
