I first came into contact with the word Buddhist in an article called "Buddhist Youth", but I don't remember the specific content.
I just have an impression of Buddhist young people pursuing a slow-paced, calm and peaceful lifestyle.
But how many people in life have an attitude and way of life where they don’t fight, don’t grab, have no desires, and just let everything happen?
Food is the most important thing for the people. When talking about hometown delicacies, Zhaocheng snacks have to be mentioned. Tofu dishes, jujube rice, Zhaocheng cakes... are all famous and make people salivate. Some are even nicknamed "
Buddhist snacks”.
My husband’s favorite food is Zhaocheng’s “yue noodles”, also called “pulled noodles”.
As the name suggests, it is made by hand, only this one, no branches.
The landlady said that if I were gone, no one would be able to do this job in Zhaocheng.
It's absolutely true. If you teach your son and others don't learn, it means there are no successors, and others don't know how to teach.
The snack bar is not big, just one room with a few tables randomly placed.
The cooking ingredients and stove are outside, and there are two long tables where guests can choose to eat outside.
The noodles are pulled and cooked in advance. The way to eat them is similar to the noodles. Boil the water in a pot, put a few meatballs, small tofu cubes, fried onions, garlic, and seasonings. Add the flower soup.
Pour, this is vegetarian, if you want to eat meat, add a portion of crispy pork.
Don't tell me, when you pour hot oil on it, it smells delicious and tastes special.
At first I didn't like to eat it, but later, maybe because it cost a lot to go there to eat it, I gradually started to like it a little bit.
It is said that the proprietress is not very Lisa, which can be seen from her storefront, but this does not seem to affect people's love for her craftsmanship. Some even say that the food tastes so sloppy.
The landlady sells noodles very casually. If she's in a bad mood, she'll close the door at any time if something goes wrong. The noodles are rationed every day, and they're gone when they're sold out. They don't increase because of the crowd. They usually run out after 12 o'clock. I went back several times.
I didn't even get anything to eat, so my trip was in vain.
I have a special liking for the "Big Yuanxiao" next door. Every time I go back, I must eat a bowl and bring a bag with me. After I come back, I basically eat it alone.
Although the "big boss" takes a back seat, as long as he comes out to take charge, he will sell a good amount of Yuanxiao. If it's too late, it will be gone, and the stall will be closed when it is sold out.
There are all kinds of glutinous rice balls in the supermarket, big and small, with various fillings, but I can't always taste the taste of Yuanxiao. It is still the most original method, with green and red silk peanuts as filling and rolling in layers.
It is even more attractive, especially if you drink another bowl of Yuanxiao soup after eating, the smooth and sweet taste in your mouth will last for three days.
Among Zhaocheng cakes, there is a "face cake" that impresses people. Maybe it's good business, maybe it's because the boss has a cold nature.
Anyway, the store is always busy every time I go there. The boss has an eternal iceberg face and says the same mantra: There are still twenty or thirty people ahead. If you want to eat, just wait. If you don’t want to eat, forget it.
