Louis de Fenes
Fenes was born in 1914. When he was young, he worked as a craftsman and accountant. This life accumulated a lot of materials for his later performances. Being a supporting comedian in a stage play has created opportunities for him to hone his acting skills.
Although he has been involved in the film industry since 1945, he has been playing a supporting role. It was not until 1957 when he was 43 years old that he became the leading role. At this time, he was already the "little French old man". During his acting career, he created many characters of different professions and times, but his character was consistent. Through exaggerated body movements and expressions, he vividly depicts the typical character of the French civil class: kind and enthusiastic but selfish and suspicious, smart and capable but cunning and changeable.
Fenes's most well-known role in China audience is the conductor in "Escape from Danger", a short, irascible, bald little French old man with small eyes and big mouth. Even if he wears a wide German military uniform and a helmet covering his eyes, he still looks like that. It was more than 11 years ago that "Escape from Danger" was released in China. Over the years, the audience has relived this masterpiece over and over again through TV, and many wonderful dialogues will still ring in their ears from time to time until now.
In addition to Escape from Danger, Fenes has also shown several films in China: in The Missing of the President, he plays a restaurant owner looking for the president, and in tell it to the judge I, he plays a mercenary factory owner; In Brave Man or Coward II, he played a gourmet who lost his sense of taste at the end of the film and could only judge a glass of wine by his eyes. During the performance, Fenes looked serious, stared at the wine in the glass, gushed out the quality and origin of the wine, and flashed a funny conceit on his face from time to time, which showed his performance skill perfectly.
His famous works include a series of police films shot from 1961s to 1981s, from the 1 th episode "The Police of Saint Tropez" to the last episode "The Police and Female Soldiers" * * * for 6 episodes. Saint-Tropez was originally a French tourist area, and the police station that was regarded as the location in the film became a new tourist attraction,
