Lantian jade carving has a long history and has been declared as an intangible cultural heritage project in Shaanxi Province. However, many old craftsmen engaged in Lantian jade carving are old, and the contradiction between the present situation of jade carving technology and market demand is increasingly exposed. According to insiders, the lack of jade carving masters and weak market have hindered the development of Lantian jade carving. Limited by the low level of research, lantian jade has not been developed and utilized on a large scale. Up to now, there are only dozens of top jade carvers in the county, and there are more than 300 jade carvers.
