Cameron plateau
Because of the cool climate on the plateau, Cameron has become a flower garden in Malaysia. The Cameron Plateau, known as the "Oriental Switzerland", is located above 15 meters above sea level, with a pleasant climate all year round, with the temperature hovering between 14 and 23 degrees Celsius. More than a hundred years ago, British explorer Cameron discovered this paradise and has since become a summer resort for the rich and British officials. Strawberries are harvested in all seasons. Tea, fruits, vegetables and flowers are abundant here. It is the largest flower producing area in Malaysia, and some of them will be exported to China and Hongkong. In recent years, orchards have sprung up for tourists to pick strawberries, and some flower farms have been transformed into pear orchards, and there are at least 3 to 4 in Cameron. We went to one of the orchards, and picked the strawberries by ourselves at RM 35 per kilogram, or about HK$ 73.5, which was not cheap. Just as we picked up the plastic basket and scissors, we were ready to show our talents, but we found that there were not many pears that could be picked, and many of them were "too raw". Is it past the season for making strawberries? The person in charge explained that the Cameron Plateau produces strawberries all year round, and the output is only a little less at the end of the rainy season and the cold months with little sunshine; because we arrived when the orchard was almost closed, a group of tourists picked the ripe fruits before, so we didn't get much. The owner of the garden asked us to try some pears on the branches and picked a bright red one, but it was not ripe enough and was very sour. However, dried strawberries, snow sticks and strawberry chocolate hot pot are the safest, ensuring sweetness. Cameron Plateau is located in Pahang, and it takes about 3 hours to get up from Kuala Lumpur. The mountain road is tortuous (it is recommended that you don't eat too much before going up the mountain, especially those who are prone to carsickness and waves). If you don't have a private car to walk on the mountain, you can take a taxi (the most convenient and inexpensive). Almost all the Stowe pear orchards can visit and eat at any time, and the price is similar to each other. In addition, there are also rose gardens and tea gardens (you can visit the tea-making garden). The grassland is not very big and vast. The sun shines brightly and it is not cold, even at night, it is a little cold (depending on people) ~ If you like flowers and plants, the environment is comfortable and fresh ~ I hope to help you!
