There are two places to watch fireflies in Selangor, one is in Kampong Guan Dan, but there is no place to live here. Most tourists join a group or rent a car and return immediately after watching it. It takes about 1 hour to drive from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Lumpur Selangor. When you arrive, you can buy a ticket and take a boat arranged by the local people, so you can wait patiently for the protagonist to appear. The boat is crude and it is dark at night. At first, I was afraid that the boat would capsize, so I didn't dare to make any big moves. When the boat rowed into the forest along the small lake, it gradually saw a little fluorescence in the distant forest, just like the flashing lights hanging on the trees at Christmas. I didn't believe it at first, but when the boat came to the end and got closer and closer to the Woods on the shore, several fireflies flew close to the boat, and you could clearly see the light spots flying by you. This moment is really exciting.
Unfortunately, the light of fireflies is too weak, so the camera flash can't see it, so it's difficult to photograph it.
The boat will sail around the lake for about 20 minutes, and you will find fireflies flying everywhere in the trees around the lake. It is said that the special smell of these trees attracts them.
If you have enough time, I suggest staying in Kuala Lumpur for one night, so that you can chat with your friends until the early hours of the morning, and occasionally a few reckless fireflies break in. This feeling is wonderful. Besides, in Guala Selangor, seafood is notoriously cheap, so I'm glad you came to find a cheap seafood shop to eat.
Firefly Park Resort has only a few holiday houses, so there won't be many people disturbing your holiday.
