The sound of rain fell on the night of Qingming Festival. I read Song poetry leisurely and listened to Yan Shu, a poet of the Northern Song Dynasty, chanting: "Swallows come when spring comes, and pear blossoms lag behind Qingming."
After turning over a few pages, I heard Yan Shu's seventh son Yan Jidao sigh again: "Dancing in the smoke and sleeping in the rain after the Qingming Festival."
I was suddenly shocked. Spring Festival has passed and Qingming has arrived again.
Qingming is both a solar term and a festival. It was also called the March Festival in ancient times and has a history of more than 2,000 years.
"All things growing at this time are clean and bright. Therefore, it is called Qingming." After the Qingming Festival, the rain increases, and everything changes from yin to yang, expelling the old and taking in the new, creating a scene of spring and bright scenery.
In the eyes of modern people, the relationship between "Qingming Festival" and tomb-sweeping and memorial ceremonies is even closer.
This is because the day before Qingming Festival is the Cold Food Festival.
According to legend, cold food began when Duke Wen of Jin mourned Jie Zitui. Later, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty was moved by this story, and in the 20th year of Kaiyuan, he ordered the world to "go to tombs with cold food" and listed it as one of the "Five Rituals" at that time.
There is only one day between Hanshi and Qingming. For the sake of publicity, people simply decided to sweep tombs during Qingming. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, tomb-sweeping during Qingming became even more popular.
After the founding of New China, people also chose to visit the tombs of martyrs on this day to remember their revolutionary ancestors.
"The ancestors' tombs are visited every year, and the tradition of elders is still there everywhere." There has always been a custom of sweeping tombs. Every "Qingming Festival", the descendants of every family will bring wine, food, fruits, paper money, and firecrackers to the ancestors' tombs to offer food to them.
They offer sacrifices in front of the ancestors' tombs, then burn the paper money, fire cannons and pray, build new soil on the tombs, plant a few flowers or fold a few green branches and insert them on the tombs, then kowtow and worship, and finally, they must eat in front of the tombs.
Go home after drinking and eating.
It rains every year during the Qingming Festival, and the rain is like tears flying all over the sky!
I am also used to seeing and being exposed to rain during the Qingming Festival; if I make an exception and encounter a bright sky any year, my heart will always feel that this festival is not perfect and a little incomplete.
Perhaps, only such feelings and scenes can give the departed soul some comfort!
The deceased are gone and cannot be traced back. Please cherish the people in front of you.
In front of the tombstone of the Qingming Festival, infinite sentimentality will be expressed, the tears of the worshipers will be strung together into wet memories, and the warm spring breeze will not wipe away the touching eyes.
The long journey of life will never stop. The continuation of the family line is a series of bold ellipsis. The old man’s gray hair is the most eye-catching question mark during Qingming Festival. Filial piety and support are the only correct choices. They are the best for the descendants of Yan and Huang for Qingming Festival.
Interpretation.
Let the heart of filial piety be present every day, insist on being kind to your parents and the elderly, and stand in the gentle wind blowing thousands of melancholy on a clear day in warm spring in April, so that you will not face the lifeless tombstones and the empty and quiet
Lamentation and boundless self-blame, carrying a mass of cold heart wailing in the wind.
