Jinhua ham is so famous, do locals really eat it often?

Do locals really know how to eat ham? The answer is natural. There are still many dishes in Jinhua that use ham. So do Jinhua people really eat ham often? The answer varies from person to person. Of course, those who like to eat often eat it, and those who don’t like to eat will not be included in their daily diet.

Many people don’t actually understand ham, and think that ham is the same concept as ham sausage. Look at the pictures!

How about a very big one? There is no way to hold it in your hand and chew it! So ham can only be used for cooking.

So what does ham taste like? People who love to eat say that ham is bright in color, with distinct red and white colors, the lean meat is salty and sweet, the fat meat is fragrant but not greasy, and it is delicious. What about people who don’t like to eat? Maybe just one word: salty.

In fact, the most important thing about ham dishes is cooking. Come, Jinhua Aboriginal Media will show you two ham menus at Jinhua local restaurants to get a feel for it.

Have you thought about it? One ham can be used in so many different dishes. It can basically satisfy your various choices, right?

So how to make ham delicious? The editor is not a chef, but I used my connections to find Master Jiang Xianping, the first-level chef of Jinhua Qingheyuan Restaurant. He told me that ham is generally best eaten by stewing or steaming. However, due to different parts of ham, the methods are also different. The whole thigh can be divided into four parts: fire claws, fire hooves, waist peak and dripping oil. "Fire claws" and "fire hoofs" are suitable to be accompanied by fresh pig's trotters and fresh pig's claws, stewed over slow fire. These are the famous dishes "gold and silver claws" and "gold and silver hoofs". "Drip oil" is suitable for cooking soup to enhance the flavor. Those with hairy bamboo shoots and winter bamboo shoots are called Huodu bamboo shoots; those with winter melon are called Huodu winter melon; those with tofu are called Huodu tofu, etc. "Du Bamboo" is the most famous. "Yaofeng" is suitable for steaming and eating, and is cut into thin slices. It can be used to make famous dishes such as "thin sliced ??ham", "Painan ham" and "dense juice ham", and is used with rice, wine and tea.

Finally, let the natives teach you two dishes.
