The East-West Chong Coastline is the most beautiful and classic coastal hiking route in Shenzhen.
Here, you can see beautiful scenery and eat delicious food.
Third, you can take the No. 360 bus to Nan'ao Town for camping in Hai Chai Jiao to enjoy the beautiful night view, and then transfer to the Xiasha-Dongxi Chong minibus (via Nan'ao, the fare is 5 yuan) or motorcycle (10 yuan/person*car)
) to Dongchong Village.
You can park your car at the Shenzhen Development Bank Villa on Dongchong Beach.
There is a dirt road in the north of the village heading east to the high-drainage breeding farm.
After walking along the road for about ten minutes, the road becomes level and begins to slope downwards, and you can see the breeding farm.
There is a mountain road on the 1.5-meter-high steps on the left side of the road here (there is a red arrow on the rock above the front left). It takes 3-4 hours to reach Haichaijiao.
The journey is not difficult. There are existing narrow mountain trails from Gaopai to Haichai Kok, making it easy to walk.
It takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes to drive through Gaopaikeng to the mouth of Libo Aukeng (Changjiao). There is a sea urchin farmer's hut on the cliff on the right (it is usually unoccupied). The open space and roof in front of the house can be used as a camping site, but at most it can only be used as a camping site.
Can accommodate 4 tents.
There is a mountain spring 10 meters south of the hut. The workers set up two large buckets to hold water, which can be used for showering and washing. It is very good.
Continue walking northeast along the mountain road, and it will take about an hour and a half to reach the mouth of the Maliu River where it enters the sea.
The Maliu River has a huge amount of water, and you can even swim in several large pits.
It takes about 40 minutes from Hekou to Haichai Kok. On the way, you may meet Dongchong villagers scraping seaweed.
There is no road approaching the easternmost end of Haichaijiao. There is a wall-like rock that needs to be climbed: there is a red arrow marking the climbing point near the sea.
Climbing up the rock, you can suddenly see Dalajia Island to the north. Looking back to the south, you can see Sanmen Island. The sea and sky are vast and endless to the east.
There is an arrow and the letter E on the rocks on the beach marking the due east direction, which is the easternmost point of Haichai Kok.
If you don’t want to continue to Yangmeikeng, return from the original route.
Since there are no beaches and suitable rocks from Chang Kok to Hoi Chai Kok, if you want to camp, you need to return to the hut at Yang Bo Aukeng.
To get to Yangmeikeng, walk northwest along the coast, which is still 4-5 hours away.
There is no road up to Haichaijiao, so you can only climb and jump on the rocks.
It takes about 3 hours to reach Shang'ao via Wanglanggui (488 meters, several rocks standing on the top of the mountain like female Wanglang) and Dashukeng.
The words "Yangmeikeng Sea Urchin Breeding Farm" can be seen on the beach of Dashuikeng, where a large mountain stream flows into the sea.
A few hundred meters across the mountain stream, there is a sea pineapple forest on the coast. There is a path going left up the mountain.
There is a hut along the road to the top of the mountain, where a fellow from Hengyang protects the sea urchins.
Go over the mountain from Wuhoushan Road and go down to the small village of Luzui in Guodian. From there, you can go straight to Yangmeikeng via the coastal path via Wanfantian and Bogongdong.
It is best to take the above-mentioned mountain climbing route from Dashuikeng to Guodianluzui. The coastal rocks at Gaoshanjiao are extremely steep and crab rocks are difficult to climb.
