1. Dragon Boat Festival Panyu is a water town with numerous river networks. The Dragon Boat Festival is enduring among the people in Panyu. During the Dragon Boat Festival every year in Panyu, there are activities of dragon racing, offering sacrifices and visiting relatives and friends, and it is customary to form three dragon boat festivals. Every year, as agreed, every township gathers together from the beginning of May of the lunar calendar to have a "dragon boat meal" in turn, and the scene is lively.

2. Dragon and lion dancing, a folk festival in Panyu, is quite common. On the days of the Lunar New Year and important township party parades (such as the birthday of Yasunari Nakamura, the birthday of the Emperor in the North of Shawan on March 3rd, the God-welcoming tournament, and the Shiqiao Ten Township Party, etc.), dragon and lion dances, phoenix dances, and fish dances from various villages appear alternately.

3. Panyu Water Color, a water performance activity with a raft as the carrier and drama or folklore as the main content, is mainly spread in Shiqiao Town, Shawan Town and other places in Panyu District.

4. Panyu Aoyu Dance is said to have developed from the "Fish Lantern Dance" introduced from Zhejiang. When Panyu settled down, it developed the fish lantern dance brought from its native place into the fish dance. Panyu Shayong has had an "Aoyu Club" for generations, which is held every nine years without interruption, and has a history of about 6 years.

5. Floating colors in Shawan, a traditional folk art activity form of parade performance during the Spring Festival. Shawan Piao Cai takes the color cabinet as the display stage, on which stands an 8-12-year-old costume child, namely "Screen", and on which stands one or two 2-year-old costume children, namely "Piao".
