The origin of place names
Langzhong is named after the natural terrain of the county. Langzhong is also called Yuen Long. Ci Hai explains the word "Yuen Long": Yuen Long, the name of the Tang Dynasty, is located in the west of Langzhong County, Sichuan Province.
According to "Langzhou, Jishengli East Road, Jidi", "In the early Tang Dynasty, the mausoleum was awkward, but it was planned in the palace, so it was called Longyuan; After avoiding the emperor's taboo, it was changed to Yuen Long. " Yuen Long was originally the residence of the legendary fairy (Queen Mother of the West). Inton's palace garden has become another name for the ancient city of Langzhong for thousands of years.
