Beijing, the capital of China, is located in the north of China. Sanya, located at the southernmost tip of China, is a famous tourist city in Hainan Island. Due to the geographical location, the distance between Beijing and Sanya is relatively far. When the distance between Beijing and Sanya is mentioned, it usually refers to the linear distance between them. However, when traveling, people may choose different modes of transportation, such as plane, train or car.
Due to the influence of routes and traffic conditions, the actual driving distance of these modes of transportation may increase slightly. Especially when flying by plane, although the flight route is straight, the actual flight distance may be slightly longer considering the factors such as route and flight safety. However, if you choose a train or a car, because you need to follow a specific traffic route, the distance you travel will generally be longer than the distance you travel in a straight line.

Sanya has been called "the ends of the earth" since ancient times because it is far away from the imperial capital and hangs alone overseas. It used to be the "Tang Muyi" of Mrs. Sendai in Sui Dynasty, and it was also the place where Jian Zhen, a great monk in Tang Dynasty, drifted ashore to preach.
