Yaozhai is slowly being developed, and a rebuilt ancient temple on the top of the mountain is also one of the viewing platforms of the ancient village.
During the day, the observation deck on the top of the mountain is crowded with tourists. The view overlooking Youling Yao Village is impressive, but it is still a virgin land that is unknown to people.
Transportation: Starting from Guangzhou, drive along Guangqing Expressway, then turn to Qinglian Expressway, exit at Sanpai/Jiupei, drive along S261 for 10 kilometers, turn left for 5.2 kilometers, then turn right for about 4 kilometers to reach the destination.

Touling Qin-Han Ancient Road This ancient road is located at the junction of Lianzhou and Hunan. It was a temporary road opened by Zhao Tuo when he led his troops to Lingnan.
At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty (about 76-82 AD), Zheng Hong, the great Sinong, was ordered to build this ancient road into a highway from Lingnan to Beijing.
It is impossible to verify when Shunling Village was established.
The villagers are all from the neighboring province of Hunan and rely on ancient roads to prosper.

Until the 1930s, business in the village was still booming. The bluestone bars on both sides of the street were full of businessmen, and there was an endless stream of porters coming and going.

Huaiqing Pavilion is halfway up the mountain, where merchants used it to shelter from wind and rain. There is an inscription recording the history of its construction.
The pavilion was built in the 18th year of Shunzhi (1661 AD) and rebuilt in the 58th year of Qianlong (1793 AD).

In the 1980s, nearby villagers used this ancient road to go to the market in the main roadside town, but now it is very deserted.
The wild pythons in the mountains are overgrown with weeds.
