Dongpo Academy, located in Zhonghe Town, Danzhou City, Hainan Province, was founded in the fifth year of Shaosheng in the Northern Song Dynasty (1098). Dongpo Academy is located in the northeast facing southwest, and its buildings are arranged along three axes. The main buildings are evenly arranged on the central axis, followed by Toumen, Wine Pavilion, Wine Hall, Main Hall and East-West Cloister, with Breqin Shuai Hall on the east axis and exhibition hall on the west axis.

There is a wall around the academy, and there is a protective sign in front of the head door. Dongpo Academy is not only a classroom to carry forward the excellent ancient cultural heritage and carry out patriotic education, but also a base for scientific research.

Dongpo Academy's wine-carrying pavilion is an octagonal cornice and double eaves structure, with two floors, four corners on the upper floor and octagonal on the lower floor. The angles are staggered and inclined, showing the trend of flight. There are 12 columns in the pavilion, which are located at the four corners of the pavilion, and each corner has three columns, which are different. In addition to plaques and couplets, Su Dongpo's three-year life scenes are also painted in the pavilion.

In the middle of the hall are statues of Su Dongpo, Su Guo and Li Ziyun, with wings on the left and right sides. Dongpo Temple is located behind the wine hall, separated by a courtyard. There are Xi 'an Gallery and Dong 'an Gallery on the left and right sides, which are connected with the wine hall to form a courtyard. Dongpo Temple, as one of the core buildings, is mainly made of wood structure, with white roof and red gate, and the overall atmosphere is solemn.
