The beautiful time of Duanlumen Dance in Xi’an is fun. Duanlumen is a small street on the south side of the middle section of the most prosperous East Street in Xi'an. From East Street to Wenchangmen, the length is less than one kilometer. The southern half is called Cypress Forest and the northern half is called Duanlumen. This is a quiet and noisy alley with many old courtyards on both sides. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties and even the Republic of China, wealthy officials lived here. Nearby is the most important school in Xi'an during the Republic of China - Xi'an High School.
