The pillow buns in Fuyang have a long history. According to legend, the battle of Shunchang in the early Southern Song Dynasty (called Fuyang Shunchang in ancient times) coincided with the emergence of new wheat. First, in order to reinforce the city walls and clean up the fields, and second, in order to support Song Jun's anti-gold action, people in Shunchang Prefecture made big steamed buns with new wheat and brought them into the city. Everyone in Song Jun sends one. When they are hungry, they cut a piece to satisfy their hunger. When they are sleepy, they lie down with pillows, so they are also called pillow buns.
