Which month is the best to travel to Sanya?

Preface: You must choose to go to Sanya in the relatively off-season. We are in the off-season after the National Day (air tickets are cheap). Because the climate in Sanya is warm in winter, people from the north have also begun to move south. You can already see a lot of them on the beaches with more public places.

Most of the foreigners are Russians, and there are quite a few northerners too!

The one closest to the airport is Tianya Haijiao (back in the days when I was a kid and I was very happy when I saw airplanes, and planes were flying overhead). It is recommended to visit Nanshan Temple on the same day. The sunset scenery at Tianya Haijiao is beautiful, and many people take wedding photos.

I came here to make a reservation. Tickets for the scenic spots were purchased online for about 75 yuan. There is no need to buy tickets within the scenic spots (you have to walk on your own in the end of the world). The whole walk only takes an hour and a half while walking and playing. My brother drove me here, so I walked there.

While walking and chatting, I felt that time passed quickly. I didn’t buy anything to eat in the scenic area. I felt that I had to prepare some water and food for convenience when I went out.

Generally, food in scenic spots is more expensive, but I heard that the fruits outside Tianya Haijiao are relatively cheap!

When you enter the Tianya Haijiao gate, there is also a sea and land amphibious vehicle from "A Good Show", which is quite interesting!

Next, we will introduce Nanshan Temple. It is best to go to Nanshan Temple early in the morning. Only when you go there can you feel the prosperity of Chinese Buddhism. At the foot of Nanhai Guanyin is the seven-story main hall. You have to queue up to walk up. The scenic area is relatively large. It is recommended to buy within the scenic area.

We bought a package ticket, ticket + ticket + vegetarian buffet in Yuanqilou, which cost more than 200 per person. Speaking of which, I have to say that the vegetarian food here is delicious!

Be sure to experience it!

I won’t go into details about the specific attractions to visit. I will only write down the general guide and small details to pay attention to.

I will post some other photos!

Speaking of photos, remember to bring a selfie stick!

It is recommended to choose five-star hotels in Yalong Bay during the off-season. Marriott, Hilton, and Sheraton all have special rooms (with morning buffets) that are very cost-effective. Those with children can also choose children's water sports and playgrounds. Some bookings also provide freebies.

You get a sea tour package (with free pick-up and drop-off) and free photography (5 free photos at a time). The beach behind the hotel is very beautiful and the sea water is very clear!

This is related to the fact that Sanya has always been positioned as a tourist city, with good environmental protection and good air quality.

Local people like to live a slow life (if you drive yourself, please be careful to drive slowly). You can see many electric motorcycles, and most of the buildings are not high. It is suitable for retirement and relaxing here!

Let’s talk about going to sea.

Regarding going to sea, I have to say that this is a routine. The free ones are only on the first floor and only provide lunch boxes, which will be very boring.

Basically, those who get free tickets will definitely spend another 150 yuan to buy a free activity space + buffet + free fruit drinks + karaoke.

Fishing is free, diving has a disposable breathing mouth for 60 yuan per person, and deep diving must take photos, which costs an additional 300 yuan per person.

The happiest thing about going out to sea is taking beautiful photos!

Let’s remember to take selfie sticks. I almost take a selfie stick every time I travel. Ask where you go to the sea (many of them don’t go to the island). The quality of the Dadonghai Sea is worse, and people say it’s more fun on Wuzhizhou Island!

There is a public beach here at Dadonghai. My phone ran out of battery and I didn’t take many photos. I only found a photo of Dadonghai on the Internet. You can come and take a look when you have time. This time let’s talk about Sanya’s food!

Speaking of food, we must not forget our "think tank" - classmate Lin Ming.

Lin Ming is a local who grew up in Sanya, and like us, he is a foodie who loves to eat. He knows the food restaurants in Sanya by heart.

So every time we visit a scenic spot, classmate Lin Ming can recommend nearby food to us. Here is a guide to local food that we think is very delicious.

Gangmen noodles are the most unique local food in Sanya. It contains large pieces of fresh fish cakes, and the soup is rich and delicious. It is also topped with peanuts, dried shrimps, bean sprouts, green onions and sauerkraut. It is refreshing and absolutely delicious.

Returning to Sanya City at noon, there are more delicious things.

The first thing Lin Ming recommended for lunch was seafood. Many friends who came to Sanya said: Sanya No. 1 Market is the most densely populated market they have ever seen, which made some friends who have not been there feel curious: What exactly is this market?

What a place it is.

In fact, it is just a farmer's market. If there is any difference from the vegetable market where everyone usually buys vegetables, I personally summarized it. First, it has a long history. It has been established for more than 40 years. It has been the earliest simple and extensive farmer's market.

, has developed into a complete market in various categories such as vegetables, non-staple food, fruits, seafood, and meat.

2. There are complete varieties of seafood. With the development of Sanya's tourism industry, the first market has become the market with the largest variety of seafood in Sanya and the fastest updating speed in order to meet the needs of tourists.

3. The surrounding functions are complete. The market is surrounded by a seafood processing street, specialty snacks, handicrafts, clothing, and specialty products. It can be said to be a "universal" market.

Of course, among the many functions of this market, the most core one is still seafood. When people are afraid of the sky-high price of seafood, this place has led a revolution in the way of eating seafood, allowing diners to eat in a relatively "controllable" way.

By participating in the purchasing and processing of seafood, the verb "eating seafood" becomes affordable and down-to-earth. As the saying goes, "A plate of shrimps in Qingdao can be eaten in Sanya."

Next, we walked into the market and took a stroll.
