Liuhe is located in the east of Taicang City, facing Chongming Island across the river in the east and bordering Shanghai Baoshan and Jiading in the south. It is an important market town along the Yangtze River in Taicang City, and is known as the first town at the end of the river. Located at the intersection of the Yangtze River and the East China Sea, with dense river networks and unique geographical location, it has created a "three fresh rivers and seas" with strong local characteristics.
