Bottle coconut is an evergreen ornamental plant in Palmae, so it is named because its stem looks like a bottle. The stem is short and round, like a wine bottle, with a height of 1~2.5 meters, and the thickest stem is 38-60 cm. Pinnate compound leaves have lanceolate leaflets, 40-60 pairs, and the number of leaves is small, usually not more than 5; Leaflets linear-lanceolate, pale green. Spikelets are much branched and oily green. Berries are oval and dark brown when ripe. The flowering period is August, and the fruiting period is March to April of the following year.

Sexual preference for high temperature, humid and sunny environment, fear of cold, salt tolerance, slow growth, winter needs to be above 10℃.
