Zou District is now a town under the jurisdiction of Zhonglou District, Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province (formerly Zou District Town, Wujin District). Zou District is a typical land of plenty in eastern China. It is located in the center of the Taihu Plain in the Yangtze River Delta, bordering Changzhou to the east, 10 kilometers from the city center and 10 kilometers to the south.
The waters of Gehu Lake are bounded by the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, Shanghai-Nanjing Railway and Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway to the north, and Changzhou Airport to the west. It is located between Shanghai and Nanjing. National Highway 312, Provincial Highway 340 and Changhong Road all run east-west through the town since 2000.
Since the year, the town has been awarded as a demonstration town for the construction of new small towns in Jiangsu Province, a provincial health town, a provincial advanced town for scientific and technological progress, a provincial advanced town for the popularization of mass culture, a provincial advanced town for fitness of hundreds of millions of farmers, and a municipal civilized town.
