Lovely hometown-Xiaoxian County

Xiaoxian County is located in the northernmost part of Anhui Province, at the junction of Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan and Anhui provinces. In ancient times, it was Xiao State, which was attached to the Song Dynasty in the Spring and Autumn Period, and was located in Xiaoxian County in Qin Dynasty. From Sui and Tang Dynasties to the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, and was one of the four counties in Xuzhou (rich in Xiao Yi). In 1955, it was transferred from Jiangsu Province to Anhui Province, and it has evolved to this day. Xiaoxian dialect is the unique traditional culture closest to our Xiaoxian's local atmosphere, the accumulation and precipitation of our Xiaoxian's civilization for thousands of years, and a valuable and considerable cultural resource, which should be cherished, excavated, protected and passed down by our Xiaoxian people. In fact, our Xiaoxian dialect belongs not only to Xiaoxian, but also to a slightly expanded scope, which should be a part of Xuhuai dialect or Xushang dialect. If its scope is expanded, it should belong to the northern language family. Liu Bang in the Han Dynasty belonged to our area. It should be said that the official language of the Han Dynasty for more than 4 years was our dialect. During the Three Kingdoms period, Cao Cao was also from our area, and the official language of the Three Kingdoms period should also be our dialect. Zhu Yuanzhang of the Ming Dynasty was also from our area. Therefore, some of our dialects are not only local, but have become a part of Putonghua. With the popularization of Putonghua, dialects that have been passed down from mouth to mouth for thousands of years are gradually ignored, and many words are out of shape. In order to continue the traditional culture and leave some intangible wealth for future generations, I have compiled some dialect words.
