According to legend, in ancient India, there was a river called Hiraniyedi, and there was a very tall and luxuriant twin tree on its bank. One day when Sakyamuni was 8 years old (in India at that time, 8 years old was already a very high age), he walked into the Hiraniyedi River, took a bath, and then went ashore and walked into the Miluo double tree forest. He spread grass and leaves between the two larger Miluo trees, and laid the Sangha on them. Then he laid his head north, facing west, resting his right hand, and lying on the Sangha on his right side. Finally, he ascended to heaven from nirvana.
Sharjah is designated as a Buddhist practitioner among the saints, and his daily practice is precisely to exercise his "bodhicitta".
